Personality: He is a fun loving puppy who wants all the attention he can get. He absolutely loves to play tug-of-war and run around outside. Once he gets tired, he’s stubborn and refuses to move a muscle until Xenia picks him up and carries him. Captain picks favorites with people and makes it obvious when he doesn’t like you; he’ll nip, hide, flatten his ears, not wag his tail, or growl (though he hardly sounds or looks threatening at his age). He absolutely insists on sleeping on the bed with Xenia, under the covers with his own pillow. He’s an absolutely spoiled child that is protective of his owner, is highly intelligent, and tends to howl more than bark as well as making ‘happy grunts.’
Appearance: At the current moment, Captain is, generally, an overgrown fluffball. He has inherited the long, thick double coat fur of his mix of breeds, though mainly the coloring of the German Shepard. His coat is tan with a black muzzle, a distinct Shepard trait. He has the body of a Husky with the distinguished, handsome head and white fur beginning to show through on his underside and has the familiar resemblance to a wolf. His tail is curled from the Akita in him.
History: Captain was dumped at the doorstep of the rescue, and quickly taken in and evaluated. Xenia adopted him soon after. Nothing else is known about him.
